We know that the Advanced Nurturing High School is a competitive and elitist place, but it is not the strangest educational institution in Classroom of the Elite. That title definitely belongs to the White Room, a very controversial and important part of the lore of Classroom of the Elite. The White Room is officially an educational institution that is run by Professor Atsuomi Ayanokoji, Kiyotaka’s father. It exists legally, but its dealings and activities are hidden from the public, which is why it is such a big enigma in the series.

It is known for its controversial educational approach, where the young students are subjected to a constantly changing, yet reduced curriculum whose goal is to create the perfect educational system that would create geniuses in 100% of the cases; Professor Ayanokoji believes that genius is created, rather than born. The children are basically being experimented on and taught in inhumane conditions, which is why the White Room is so controversial. In this article, we are going to talk about these students, as we are going to list and tell you about all the known students of the White Room.

Known students of the White Room

As you can imagine, due to the secrecy of the White Room’s activities, the identities of the numerous students that have been inscribed there are mostly unknown. We only know three names (see below), but we do know that the students are divided based on generations and that currently – as of the time of writing – there are five known generations in the series. Each generation’s educational focus is different and in this article, we are going to tell you all you need to know about the students.

1st Generation

The first generation of the White Room is a big enigma. We know that it exists, but the series hasn’t been very helpful in identifying its educational goals or the names of the students from that generation. This is why we don’t have any precise information for you at this point in time. If any information comes out in the light novels, we will update this article immediately.

2nd Generation

Everything we’ve said about the first generation of the White Room can be said about the second generation as well. We know that it exists, but the series hasn’t been very helpful in identifying its educational goals or the names of the students from that generation. This is why we don’t have any precise information for you at this point in time. If any information comes out in the light novels, we will update this article immediately.

3rd Generation

The third generation of White Room is also an enigma and we can only repeat what we’ve already said about the two previous generations. We know that this generation also exists, but the series hasn’t been very helpful in identifying its educational goals or the names of the students from that generation. This is why we don’t have any precise information for you at this point in time. If any information comes out in the light novels, we will update this article immediately.

4th Generation

The educational focus of the fourth generation was individualism, as the White Room wanted to teach its students to be independent people. The curriculum was exceptionally difficult and as far as we know, all but one student dropped out and/or failed to pass the final exams. Still, despite failing, they did learn a lot in this aspect. Only one student from this generation has been identified:

  • Kiyotaka Ayanokōji, the protagonist of the series. As Professor Ayanokoji’s father, it makes sense that he was enrolled there and the short time he spent there influenced his personality in many ways. He manages to escape and refuses to return, despite his father’s wishes.

5th Generation

The focus of the fifth generation was on communication and collaboration. The children were allowed to interact with each other, but there was a bare minimum of contact between them and they never really managed to bond or become friends. Two students of this generation have been identified:

  • Ichika Amasawa, a female student who seemingly “lived through” the fifth generation and is not a student of the Advanced Nurturing School. She is an admirer of Ayanokoji because of his success.
  • Takuya Yagami, a male student who is now likewise a student of the Advanced Nurturing School. He has a different personality than Ichika and seems to be a genuinely nice guy, which is why he is such an interesting character.
