DNF @ 75% but I'm marking it as read because I did read a big part of it. My biggest problem is that neither of the 3 MLs has a personality so it was very hard for me to root for any of them or like them as a whole. It feels like apart from they wanting to sleep with the MC there was no other reason for their attraction to him. After I realised that, I started avoiding reading this webnovel so yeah

No me gustó, me planto en el capítulo 27.
El protagonista es idiota y los discípulos no me caen bien.
La historia es mala, o mejor dicho carece de historia con substancia me aburre y no quiero seguir perdiendo el tiempo así que paso a la siguiente.

the plot is a little bit lacking in my opinion. a few interesting points were shown "off-screen" and the ending seemed... rushed and sort of too easy. still liked it because of the characters, which were pretty cool, including the secondary and background ones.

I need to say, that this novel can (and with a big possibility will) broke your three views if they are still intact. But that's not a bad point here! Don't be scared. ;) It's not a harem, but you can see it like one because of our ML who split his souls in 3 and it can be considered as having harem of one person. They will fuse in the end and we will have one ML. I do not consider it a bad point. Also it gives this novel quite a unique taste. I was quite sad at the ending, I almost cried. I want my Huanhan. ; ( Nothing very new with the world structure. Not much of action. It's mostly about our MC trying to find answers for his goals and return home. While he also have to educate his three beloved disciples. The main character is quite ordinary, I suppose. But I like the ML. Also, many review here have different opinions of MC and his disciples, I will tell you that, even through they are a bit possessive and totally a vinegar jars, they do not dare force him to anything. So there is no forcing here, I hope it's clear. Also, this novel is quite spicy. Mostly all is behind the closed doors, but it still have enough for it to be spicy and to broke readers three views. I personally enjoyed this novel. And if you still dare after reading my warning in the beginning, I Recommend you to try it.

master-disciple trope, strong mc, possessive and vinegar-drinking love interests, some pa pa pa in between, breedable mc, some furry actions, idk what else i can ask very sad about the three disciples fusing together tho... like i know that they're all just parts of the same soul but they've also gone through hardships and experiences of their own, so to me that makes them a whole separate person. and they didn't only live with their identity for days, it was for hundreds of years! a quote from my favourite disciple aka li huanhuan: "is there a place for me in shizun's heart? then that's enough. it is the best resting place for me." THAT'S ILLEGAL I'M SHAKING CRYING AND THROWING UP anyway jiang yinghe does have favouritism towards li huanhuan and he's so right for that. i also like that jiang yinghe revealed the truth about his origin and system to his disciples huge thumbs up to that

It was really entertaining at first and I was hyped up for the plot that was to come afterwards. I was expecting more conflict, more character development and thought the first part of the book was only the beginning. Sadly that was the best part of the book and it all started going downhill. I did not get to see more of the characters' personalities, more of their inner struggles nor beliefs nor desires. They were very basic and at first they were entertaining. However reading this book became a chore after a point. It was really disappointing from that perspective.
There were indeed some fun parts and the male lead(s) are somewhat badass.

I thought the beginning was quite interesting, especially the personalities and interactions with each new disciple. However, towards the end it did drag a bit for me since the author seems to both want to create a harem, but also can't seem to bear not having the relational be a 1v1. In the end, I thought the book was entertaining and fun. It's really well translated, the world creation is nice, and the characters are nice. I didn't think the plot was exceptionally unique, especially once it got towards the end.

This one definitely twisted and turned with the 3 love interests, in a way that I wasn’t sure could be resolved, but I was pleasantly surprised by the end. I liked the protagonist quite a bit (though I think he’s annoyingly naive for someone who is incredibly old). Still. I am a sucker for the shizun-and-devoted-disciples trope, and I think it was a well written example of it. Author also didn’t drag it on longer than it needed to be, which makes it a fairly quick and straightforward read.

im not into that harem thing at all but i kind liked the novel, ngl i was a bit concerned about this but it ended well in my vision!! at first I thought it was only about the 3 mls trying to get their shizun on bed but it turns that, apart of they really wanting to do it, both mc and mls are a kind of destined. im not going to say much bcs I don’t to spoil anything!! but it’s quite funny and cute.

I'm quite concerned about the little dark room thing, um, I feel that the ending was kinda rushed and I would've looooved to read from the disciples point of view when the fusion started to get serious, oh and I wanted to read what happened after the extra ;-; at least tell me the reaction post action or something T-T

My feeling are honestly kind of mixed on this. I loved the characters, loved their personalities and how they bickered with eachother. But the actual plot line was a bit boring. Chang Ye also felt very infantilised throughout even though he's supposed to be 10,000+ years old. Overall I did really enjoy the book though, for characters more so than plot.

marketed as 1vs1 but in reality more like a foursome/fivesome
love interest is technically if u want harem just call it that bro
also honestly kinda throws u into the cold water with some aspects of the world building that dont get explained lol

So much fun to read! All of the characters are interesting the plot is engaging, the foreshadowing is well done, and I think the romance was great. Jiang Yinghe’s relationship with his martial siblings as well as his friends are all amazing, and I love how he just keeps getting suckered by his disciples. It is so easy to sucker HeHe… This was great. 10/10

Dropped after 25 chapters, read the last chapter just for the hell of it. Fun concept, fun twist - BORING novel. So sad.

There wasn’t much going on in this book actually. The plot is lacking and not a single character development happening. Very disappointed as the premise of this book was quite interesting.

Rating: 3.9/5 Recommended for readers who are into Shizun x Disciple and yandere tropes, with cat boy thrown in as bonus. PISDD is great for shizun bullying/spoiling agenda. There are a lot of sweet moments in between healthy dose of vinegar. The combination of fluff and humor, with a light sprinkle of angst hit just right for me. The plot is light, with a heavy focus on romance as shizun raising his "traitorous" disciples to eat him lol. I love all MLs! -Li Huanhuan!!! I have a huge soft spot for him for his utter devotion to shizun (& ruthlessness in bed lol). - Qin Jun (my fav) is both manipulative & sweet. Love how Shizun always turns to him when being "bullied" lol. - Chang Ye aka the baby/cat boy. Just too cute! Best character development in the book. Overall, PISDD is a decent comfort read, especially when one needs a break from plot-heavy/angst books.

1'5? I started it because I wanted to read about misunderstandings and at least the beginning was fun and it gave you what it offered. Then the story went downhill. No plot. Then plot. The plot is quickly resolved. All the romantic interests are jealous obsessed with the protagonist (and almost all the sex scenes are quite dubcon as minimum). The final arc where they supposedly solved some mysteries has been agonizingly boring and the end... well. Terribly unsatisfying. The romantic plot has gone from interesting to toxic. A pity, because the beginning was quite funny.

Another one if those novels where I wanted more extras. 🫣 The finale was a bit abrupt for me and there were harem-like scenes but can’t really be considered a harem. The plot is nice and the story was quite funny.
