Darling Downs

TheDarling Downs Hospital and Health Service provides hospital services, as well as community and primary health services from 26 locations.
The Darling Downs region covers an expansive area. It reaches from the cool-climate Granite Belt in the south, to the sun-drenched South Burnett in the north. The Granite Belt is Queensland’s premier wine region while South Burnett also has its own flourishing produce scene.
The region also extends west in an arc from Goondiwindi to Chinchilla and its spectacular sunsets are reflected in the sparkling network of rivers, dams and creeks.
Toowoomba is at the heart of the region and is the second largest inland Australian city.
